Movie Poster Mashup

A mashup when you are talking about graphic design is when you take someone elses image and mix it with one of your own.

Task:
For our Movie Poster Mashup, students will select a movie poster they think they can use to create a poster for the movie of their life.

 
Ways to Do It:

1) You can download and edit an image in GIMP inputting your own central image as I did in the poster below

 

2) You can copy the images and layout of a poster by drawing it and altering the image as you draw to include your own central image.

3) You can cut and paste images using scissors and glue. Print out a poster and a picture of yourself or draw a picture of yourself to paste in.

 

Criteria for Success:

*Must have an original central image, either of yourself or of a creative representation of you

*Must show the origins of the poster (either by pasting a copy to the original in your image or on the back of it – Always Cite Your Sources)

*Must be printed (color or black and white) or drawn on a sheet of 8x11 computer paper

*Must have your name and talent class listed on the back of the image
